“La Vieja” features the hard to find preferred “Galley Up” layout, of which very few were made. Besides the benefit of a wide open salon, she boasts a 3 stateroom layout below, with two full heads. The master stateroom is midship to port, there is a V berth forward, and a bunk room to starboard.
“La Vieja” was completely refit in 2012 by her previous owners. She was repowered with Common Rail 670 HP Cummins QSM 11’s, which to date have jut 1300 hours on them, She received a new generator, new transmissions, new exhaust, new air conditioning units, new refrigeration, a new interior, and new electronics, just to mention a few things.
Her current owners purchased her in 2017, and took her to the next level. All of the aluminum was removed, and replaced with oversized stainless steel West Coast style rails. A SeaKeeper 9 was added. A custom hardtop was fabricated, Solar was added, The entire boat was sprayed with linear polyurethane paint. Her interior was redone, The electronics were replaced (Again!) All of her systems have been gone through. Almost everything is new!
Combine the renowned Bertram ride, her stout build, and all of the improvements, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer boat anywhere, at any price. “La Vieja” is the perfect platform for Southern California fishing, or Island life.
