Accomodations & layout
The Rampage 30 Express features a large cabin with sleeping for four adults, a separate head with shower, & a full galley. With a beautiful cherry wood interior and amenities you would normally find in larger yachts, she is extremely comfortable for a fishing boat. The head is beautifully appointed with convenient vanity and port light located above the stainless steel sink. There is also a shower with a curtain for convenience. And, there is a full galley complete with refrigerator, cooktop, & microwave. But, perhaps most importantly there is plenty of storage in upper & lower cabinets. In fact, there is great storage throughout the cabin from the hanging locker to the storage under the berth & seating.
The helm deck is very open with great 360 degree visibility and forward facing seating for three adults. To starboard is a well laid out helm with a comfortable captain’s chair and to port is a large bench seat that easily seats two adults. Aft on the helm deck is an aft facing jump seat to watch the lines with storage beneath and a tackle center complete with sink, cutting board, & lots of drawer storage for tackle.
The cockpit is huge for a 30′ express with coaming pads on all three sides, plenty of fishbox storage, and a large Offshore bait tank in the center with a lid/cutting board. And, for Southern California boaters there is a convenient transom door & essential swim step.
Last but certainly not least, is the tower with steering, engine controls, & full electronics. There is also plenty of seating for the captain and guests with a pedestal at the helm & wrap around seating behind.
