34' Beal 34
$225,000 | 2004 | Dana Point, CA
Description
The Leslie Anne is on the market. Known locally in Southern California as one of the hottest little swordfish boats around, the Leslie Anne is dialed in and ready-to-go for the season.
Leslie Anne is simply one of the West Coast's most unique and capable fishing boats. The 34' Calvin Beal platform was custom-built at the Southwest Boatworks of Maine in 2004. She eventually found her way to California and was outfitted as a gentlemen's commercial fishing boat. Powered by a single 440hp Yanmar, she boasts incredible versatility and efficiency. With speed, kind sea-keeping ability, and a spacious layout, the Leslie Anne has been used commercially and for family fishing trips. She's landed just about every gamefish known in the Socal Bight.
From harpooning swordfish to having four anglers casting poppers to bluefin tuna, the Lelie Anne can do it all with speed, comfort, and efficiency! Endless possibilities exist for this vessel's next chapter. Fish her as is, convert her for the various year-round fisheries of southern California, or make her into a dandy yacht club committee boat.
She's always been maintained to yacht quality standards. The owner has used her for the harpoon and deep drop fisheries. In 2023, the cockpit-mounted bait tank was removed and replaced with a custom transom-mounted system. This cleared the spacious deck for a custom-insulated fish hold (not included in the sale). This boat has remarkable cockpit space.
Not an off-season goes by with constant upgrades and service.
She's priced aggressively for a quick sale and shown by appointment only. You will be absolutely blown away by how smartly laid out this vessel is. Unless otherwise noted, commercial fishing gear is excluded.
