34' Wellcraft Triumph 34
$89,000 | 1991 | San Diego, CA
Description
Beautifully done refit on a 34' Wellcraft Triumph Bridge Deck sedan diesel powerboat with owner showing extreme pride in ownership and vision making this a near turn key, ready to head to Catalina pocket cruiser. Design and layout is similar to a Carver Mariner, one of Carver's most popular model powerboats they ever built. Contact listing agent for full details, list of refit and an opportunity to get onboard this great little cruiser.
She was re-powered in 2021 with Volvo D4, 230hp diesels. Everything listed below is less than two years old.

- Brand new steering ram and autopilot
- Generator removed and replaced with 400Ah lithium house bank and Victron inverter
- Trim tabs removed and replaced with interceptors
- Brand new Vacuflush toilet, holding tank, and all new hoses
- New drum winch, new anchor line, and new Rocna anchor

This boat can probably go into commercial six-pack service with very little preparation. All areas of the engine compartment are very easy to access and maintain. The efficient, electronic commercial diesel engines are at the beginning of their lifecycle. Good luck finding that anywhere in Southern California without buying a brand-new boat. Yes, this boat hull is 1991, but the core mechanical parts of the boat are all new, with the latest technology.
The boat is 15,700 pounds, so it does not get bounced around like a lower displacement boat. The layout is by far the best layout of any power boat at 34 feet. There are only four steps up to the bridge that can seat eight, and there is a beverage hatch between the galley and the two helm seats.
Owners family takes this boat from San Diego to Catalina with confidence. She is reported to have a top speed of 27mph, and a cruising speed of 22mph with the computer showing 80% load on the engines. Upgrading a new boat to commercial diesel engines with a glass cockpit, a lithium house bank with 3000-watt inverter, vacuflush toilet, interceptors, autopilot and drum winch would drive the base price of a new boat to an astronomical number. Seller spared no expense to build a good boat to last his family many years without cutting any corners. Unfortunately for the seller and his family, they will need to part with their boat much earlier than planned.
